When We Eat

Brand Identity · Packaging

When We Eat is a food brand developed around gratitude, good ingredients, and everyday moments of sharing food. The identity and packaging system were created for a real product line, with applications across oatmeal products, snacks, beverages, and customer-facing brand materials.

Brand Identity

A warm and approachable wordmark built around the idea of thankfulness, everyday food, and shared moments.

Ambition

The goal was to create a food brand that felt thankful, friendly, and accessible. The brand needed to communicate good ingredients, quality products, and a warm everyday experience around food, while remaining simple enough to apply across different product categories.

Action

I developed the brand strategy, positioning, logo system, colour direction, packaging concepts, and product applications. The visual identity combines a bold wordmark with a softer handwritten element to balance clarity and warmth. The system was then extended across oatmeal packaging, snack boxes, beverage labels, and supporting brand visuals.

Impact

The project established a flexible brand direction that could work across dry goods, snacks, baked goods, beverages, and related food products. It created a consistent visual language that feels approachable, product-focused, and easy to adapt across packaging and marketing materials.
